In part one of this series “Ephesus”, Pastor Steve Boyce lays the foundation for the next few weeks in the book of Ephesians. Ephesus was a busy financial center; a wealthy and cultural place that had a large amphitheater and amazing architecture. The people there were civilized and about living in a modern city. Paul was living there to try to establish the church and teach the people about Jesus Christ. We can learn from this powerful letter and apply it to our lives today because it is written to you, to the saints of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Ephesians wasn’t just a letter with ancient truths written to the Church at Ephesus in ancient times. It can also be applied to us presently in the modern day Church as a present day truth that’s eternal in the Bible. Before we met the Lord, we were dead in our sins; He saved us and brought us life. Pastor Steve Boyce continues with part two of this series, in the second book of Ephesians as Paul lays down the foundation on how we can make sure we are living our Christianity in a way to that best builds a mighty House of God.

Our salvation in Jesus Christ is bigger than we could ever imagine. To live out this salvation in the best way, our perspective on life has to elevate, it must be higher and God has to give us a revelation of who we are. In part three of this series, Pastor Steve explains that once we fully realize we are co-heirs with Christ, we live from a different position than the world; we were created uniquely for and by God, and our lives should reflect that.

All of our hope is in Jesus, there is no other option. When we decide to follow Christ, we have to make a decision to leave everything behind, including living selfishly and live a life full of faith, relying solely on God.

We have an obligation to keep the unity of the spirit in faith. Not only that, we need to stay in unity with our brothers and sisters in Christ, our families and the leadership of the church. The Church is led by leadership that God has appointed and the body works together to strengthen His house. Pastor Steve Boyce continues with part five of the Ephesus 2015 series.

In the sixth part of this series “Ephesus 2015”, Pastor Steve talks about family and marriage. When the churches were being formed in places like Ephesus and Corinth, the same problems were happening that are occurring in churches today. The Bible is the same forever and what applied to them in those days, applies to us in these days. In chapter 5 of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul talks about family and how our relationships are supposed to be with one another.
